L’Aviazione Francese in Italia 1915-1918

• Gli aviatori francesi sono stati compagni d’arme di quelli italiani per tutta la durata della Grande Guerra. Sono stati qualche centinaio di aeroplani e un numero ancora maggiore di piloti, osservatori e specialisti che hanno combattuto al nostro fianco. Questo volume, frutto di meticolose ricerche negli archivi di Roma e di Parigi, vuole ricostruire vicende belliche, ma soprattutto vuole narrare una storia di uomini, dai piloti privilegiati del Lido di Venezia ai soldati del cielo che hanno volato sulle Alpi fino agli ultimi giorni di guerra.
• Quaranta piccole biografie, oltre 350 fotografie in gran parte inedite, trenta profili  a colori e numerose tabelle e appendici per la prima volta fanno conoscere un capitolo dimenticato della storia dell’aviazione in Italia.

The French aviators were comrades in arms with the Italian ones throughout the entire First World War. They were one hundred airplanes and a greater number of pilots, observers and specialists, who fought by our side. This volume, result of accurate research in Rome and Paris archives, wants to recreate military events, but, most of all, it wants to tell the story of men, from the privileged pilots of the Venice Lido to the sky soldiers, that flew on the Alps, until the last days of war.

Forty little biographies, more than 350 photographs, the majority of which unpublished, thirty color profiles and numerous tables and appendices, that for the first time tell us about a forgotten chapter of the history of aviation in Italy.
